About the Role

UT Austin seeks a visionary nurse educator to lead all nursing programs: BSN (traditional and accelerated), MSN, and DNP. Maintain ACEN and CCNE accreditation, recruit outstanding faculty, and build clinical partnerships with Austin-area health systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead academic programs: BSN, Accelerated BSN, MSN, DNP
  • Maintain ACEN/CCNE accreditation standards
  • Recruit, develop, and retain outstanding nursing faculty
  • Build clinical partnerships with major Austin health systems
  • Manage program budget and champion inclusive excellence

Qualifications

  • Terminal nursing degree (PhD or DNP required)
  • Current RN licensure (or eligibility for Texas)
  • 5+ years nursing faculty experience
  • Demonstrated academic administrative experience

Compensation

$150,000–$200,000. UT System benefits, research/professional development funds, relocation assistance.
