Position Description
UCLA is seeking an experienced, innovative, and student-centered University Registrar to lead a team of 80+ staff in providing exceptional enrollment, academic records, and student data management services.
Responsibilities
- Lead all operations of the Office of the Registrar, including enrollment, scheduling, grading, and degree auditing
- Manage student information systems (Banner, PeopleSoft, or Slate)
- Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IV, and California Education Code
- Drive digital transformation of student records and enrollment processes
- Collaborate with Academic Senate, deans, and student affairs leadership
- Oversee commencement and graduation certification processes
- Supervise and develop a 80-person registrar team
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressive registrar experience at a major university
- Deep expertise in FERPA and federal enrollment regulations
- Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or similar SIS
- Strong leadership and project management skills
Compensation
- Salary: $120,000 – $155,000 annually
