Position Description

UCLA is seeking an experienced, innovative, and student-centered University Registrar to lead a team of 80+ staff in providing exceptional enrollment, academic records, and student data management services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all operations of the Office of the Registrar, including enrollment, scheduling, grading, and degree auditing
  • Manage student information systems (Banner, PeopleSoft, or Slate)
  • Ensure compliance with FERPA, Title IV, and California Education Code
  • Drive digital transformation of student records and enrollment processes
  • Collaborate with Academic Senate, deans, and student affairs leadership
  • Oversee commencement and graduation certification processes
  • Supervise and develop a 80-person registrar team

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive registrar experience at a major university
  • Deep expertise in FERPA and federal enrollment regulations
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or similar SIS
  • Strong leadership and project management skills

Compensation

  • Salary: $120,000 – $155,000 annually
