About the Position
Work on NIH-funded research in chronic disease epidemiology, environmental health, and health disparities. Research areas: Cancer Epidemiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Environmental Health, Health Disparities, Infectious Disease.
Responsibilities
- Conduct epidemiological research using large-scale datasets (NHANES, Medicare)
- Publish in leading public health and medical journals
- Present at national and international conferences
- Mentor graduate students in the department
Qualifications
- PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or closely related field
- Strong statistical skills (R, SAS, Stata, Python)
- At least 2 first-author publications or manuscripts in preparation
Compensation
$65,000–$80,000 (NIH scale + supplement). Full health/dental/vision benefits, conference funding, Hopkins retirement plan.
